    ISC welcomes the Maker Community to celebrate the National Week of Making with us in Northern Virginia.

    Join the ISC as we showcase the Makers Community of Northern Virginia to the public as part of National Week of Making!

     Made in NOVA

    When: June 21st, 5-8pm
    Where: TBD (Loudoun/Dulles Region)
    Who: We've invited makerspaces, schools, libraries, chambers of commerce, and political leaders from Loudoun and Fairfax Counties who represent and support the Maker community, along with representatives from Gov. McAuliffe's offices. This event will be free to all and open to the pubic.
    What: There will be as many as 60 booths where Maker individuals and teams will be demonstrating the innovations they built, and the organizations that have supported their creation.

    Registration: FREE! Please sign up so we can ensure we have room for everyone!

     
    We invite you to join us for this inaugural event supporting the Maker community, innovations, and the economic growth and enrichment they bring to Northern Virginia.

    If you are a Maker or belong to a Makerspace, and would like to demonstrate your innovation, or share information about your organization's offerings, please contact Michelle Chance, michelle.chance@isc-connect.org. It is completely free to have a booth!

  • Assistive Technology Conference & Showcase

    Join the ISC, GMU, and Mason Life to see what new technologies are available to help people with special needs.

     

    The Innovative Solutions Consortium (ISC) has partnered with George Mason University (School of Business and Mason Life) and Northern Virginia Regional Health Information Organization (NoVaRHIO) to host a competition to help find technological solutions for people with special needs to enable them (and their caregivers) to perform daily tasks more independently.

     On June 10, 2016 from 9am-4pm at the George Mason Arlington campus, we will be hosting the Second Annual Assistive Technologies Conference and Showcase: Fostering Innovations for Special Needs. This event will include keynotes discussing how the technology and innovation community can come together and collaborate to help develop products for AT, companies showcasing their solutions, and innovators as they compete for cash awards and recognition.

    The Resource Fair and Social Hour is a signature event during Loudoun Small Business Week 2016.
